Solid Brake Discs

A single solid casting with no internal vanes. Heat leaves through the outer surfaces alone, which is enough wherever braking energy stays low. Standard on rear axles and on smaller passenger cars.

Vented brake rotors

Vented Brake Discs

Two friction faces separated by internal cooling vanes. Rotation draws air through those vanes and pulls heat out from the centre, so the friction surface stays cooler under repeated braking. The standard fitment on front axles, SUVs and pickups.

Drilled & Slotted Discs

Cross-drilled holes and machined slots cut into the friction face. The openings give gas, dust and water a path off the surface, so the pad keeps clean contact under hard braking. Fitted mainly to front axles on sport and upgrade applications.

Manufacturing Process

Brake Disc Manufacturing, From Molten Iron to Packed Carton

A brake disc is decided at the foundry, not at final inspection. As a brake disc manufacturer running its own foundry and machine shop in China, we hold every stage below in house — here is the full sequence and what is controlled at each step.

Iron Melting

Scrap steel, pig iron and alloys are melted and the chemistry is adjusted to the required grade before any iron is poured.

Moulding & Pouring

Iron is poured into sand moulds shaped to the reference, forming the raw casting including the internal cooling vanes.

Shakeout & Ageing

Castings cool, come out of the moulds and are aged so internal stress is released before it can be locked into a machined disc.

Rough Turning

Excess material comes off and the basic diameter, thickness and mounting faces are established.

Finish Turning & Grinding

Friction faces and the hub mounting face are finished in the same setup, which is what keeps the disc running true once fitted.

Drilling & Slotting

Bolt holes are drilled to the pitch circle; cross-drilled holes and slots are machined on the references that take them.

Balancing & Coating

Discs are dynamically balanced, then coated or painted — hat and edges included, since that is where rust shows first.

Inspection & Packing

Runout, thickness variation and hardness are recorded against the batch, then part numbers and labels are matched before loading.

Brake discs are heavy, dimension-critical, and priced differently depending on the finish. This is how an order is checked, priced and shipped — and what we need from you to get there quickly.

Send Your Parts List

OEM numbers, VIN numbers or the references already in your system, with the quantity for each. If you already know which lines you want coated, say so — otherwise we quote both.

We Check the Dimensions, Not Just the Number

Outer diameter, thickness, overall height, bolt pattern and centre bore are verified against the application. A disc that looks correct but runs two millimetres thick is the most common way a shipment turns into dead stock.

You Get Pricing, Weight and a Shipping Date

Unit price per reference and per finish, gross weight and container volume, and a realistic shipping date. Discs are heavy, so the weight column is what tells you your actual landed cost.

Minimum Order Quantity Our minimum is 100 pieces per reference. A single order can combine many different part numbers, so you do not need to reach the minimum on every line.
Finish Selection Plain and coated discs are priced separately. Unless you specify, we quote both against the same list, so you can see exactly what the coating adds per reference before deciding how to position it.
Weight & Container Loading Gross weight per carton and total volume are confirmed with the quotation. On mixed orders we plan the loading so the container reaches its weight limit and its volume limit together, instead of shipping air.
Packing & Corrosion Protection Discs are packed against humidity for the sea journey, not only for shelf appearance — sealed inner packing on plain discs, and cartons specified for the weight rather than carried over from lighter parts.
Discs and Pads Together Most workshops replace both at the same time. Discs and pads can be quoted as matched axle sets and consolidated into one shipment, which normally costs less in freight than ordering them separately.
Payment Terms Standard terms are a 50% advance deposit, with the remaining 50% paid before delivery. T/T wire transfer, Western Union, PayPal and XTransfer accepted.
Sample Policy Samples are free for fitment and quality evaluation before a bulk order, but the courier cost is carried by the customer. Worth knowing that discs are heavy, so air courier on a large sample set is not cheap — tell us your priority references and we keep the sample set small.

Yes. Send the OEM numbers, the aftermarket references you already use, or the VIN, and we identify the corresponding discs and quote against them. Matching by photograph or by eye is where fitment mistakes come from, so we work from numbers.

Yes. UN Regulation No. 90 covers replacement brake discs as well as linings, and approval is required to sell replacement discs legally in the EU and UK. We supply the approval number and the certificate before you order, so your compliance team can verify it in advance.
